Nerve

Est. 2007. We're Back.

Nerve Is Back for WoW: Forever

Nerve is a WoW: Forever Horde guild based in US Central. We are an Adult PvP and Raiding Guild, built for players with jobs and real-life commitments. We are active, but we also get that life comes first.

For the Horde!

Lok'tar Ogar. Horde since 2007. Still Horde.

World PvP

We play on the PvP ruleset. If Alliance show up, so do we.

Central Time Raiding

Raids are in the evening, Central Time. We start on time because everyone has real-life obligations.

Adults Only. No Drama.

We are all adults with lives. Show up, have fun, and keep the drama out of guild chat.

Who We Are

A lot of us played original WoW when it was current. We remember the Southshore and Tarren Mill standoffs and the guildies who came running when someone got ganked. The Alliance is still annoying.

Nerve is for people who want that kind of guild again without losing a whole evening waiting on a pull. You do not have to be a WoW veteran. You do have to be good company.

The Old Crew Is Coming Back

If you played with us back in the day, come find us. We have followed each other through a few games since 2007, and now we are back in Azeroth. There are a lot of new faces, and nobody gets a special table. Everybody plays together here.

Say Hello

Old Friends. New Adventures. Same Chaos.

  • This Week In Warcraft News

    October 20, 2026

    From Blizzard

Here's a quick rundown of what Blizzard shared this week.

Midnight's 12.1.5 content update is now live. It adds a single-boss raid against Kith'ix with flexible Mythic difficulty, plus the Labyrinth of Kindo'jan, a massive Delve-like gauntlet with nine chambers. That gauntlet includes a Tier 11 solo challenge, Mythic gear, cosmetics, and titles. Season 2 gets a mid-season refresh and Keystone Mythic, and a new story campaign returns players to Quel'Thalas and Zul'Aman.

Episode 4 of the WoW: Forever Podcast covers PvP, featuring Senior Game Designer Josh "Aggrend" Greenfield and Lead Designer Tim Jones talking about the team's approach to PvP for WoW: Forever.

Blizzard also previewed the next Midnight update, Echoes of the Worldcore, which brings players back to Dornogal to find a way into the Coreway. It includes a new story campaign called "The Return to Dornogal," a darker turn for Talebound, and new Lorewalking quests. This update is currently on the PTR.

A new class deep dive covers the Paladin in WoW: Forever, looking at updates to Seals and Judgements along with Holy, Protection, and Retribution options.

A Twitch Drop is live through November 3 for a Cuddly Gold-Colored Grrgle housing decor item, earned by watching 4 hours of eligible WoW content on Twitch.

  • WoW: Forever Stress Test Rescheduled to October 21

    October 20, 2026

    From Blizzard

Blizzard has pushed back the World of Warcraft: Forever Stress Test. It was originally planned for October 19 but is now set for October 21.

Anyone can join the test, no subscription, Game Time, invitation, or beta access is needed. The test starts at 2:00 p.m. PDT in North America, 19:00 CEST in Europe, 06:00 KST on October 22 in Korea, and 05:00 CST on October 22 in Taiwan.

The beta will go offline shortly before the Stress Test begins and is expected to return shortly after it ends. Blizzard notes the test window may end earlier or run later than planned.

To join, update your graphics drivers, open the Battle.net app, select World of Warcraft, then choose World of Warcraft: Forever Stress Test under In Development and install it. Once the test begins, log in, pick an available test realm, and create a new test character to take part.

All characters, names, and guilds made during the Stress Test will be wiped afterward. This is in preparation for Name Reservations, which open on October 27. Players who pre-purchase the Skyborne Heroic Pack, Skyborne Epic Pack, or the limited-time Warcraft Forever Collection get Early Name Reservation access from October 27 through November 3, with names given out first-come, first-served.
